Land Registry is extending its online facility for issuing official search certificates.
From 6 December this year, Land Registry Direct (LRD) and National Land Information Service (NLIS) customers will be able to request that official search certificates for official searches of whole without priority (a form OS3 of whole search) are issued in electronic format.
Previously, only certificates relating to official searches of whole with priority (form OS1 searches) could be issued electronically.
Certificates will be issued as PDF files.
