Pilot Clothing has gone into administration after the 70-store chain failed to refinance because of a drop is sales over Christmas.
Half the high street stores have already been sold although the identity of the buyer has not been disclosed.
The administrators at Leonard Curtis said it was likely several would have to be closed.
