Strutt & Parker sets up fund for agent’s family

Strutt & Parker has set up a fund to accept donations for the family of industrial partner James McDonald, who died on 15 December.

James, 32, was killed in a car accident. He leaves his wife Ann and one-year-old daughter Lucy.

Giles Thomas, head of S&P’s industrial department, said: “James was a unique character whose sudden death has been a great shock.

“His humour was always to the fore in all that he did, making him a highly popular figure with work colleagues, contemporaries and the industrial market. Our thoughts are with his family at this trying time.”

S&P is holding a book of remembrance at its head office at 13 Hill Street, Berkeley Square, W1. Donations may also be made to the Stoke Mandeville special care baby unit.
