Senior environment lawyer joins CMS Cameron Mckenna

Solicitor CMS Cameron McKenna has appointed the former head of Simmons & Simmons’ environment law practice as a consultant.

Newcomer Kathy Mylrea will be involved in growing and developing the environment and health and safety aspects of CMS Cameron McKenna’s safety, health, environment and products (SHEP) practice.

The appointment marks Mylrea’s second stint with the firm. She previously practised at McKenna & Co, one of the firms that merged to form CMS Cameron McKenna.

Rated in the top tiers of the Legal 500 and Chambers legal directories, the SHEP team advises companies and public bodies on current and future regulation, enforcement, claims and risk management.

Its work has included the MMR vaccines litigation, the Southall and Ladbroke Grove rail crashes, and test cases relating to waste (including nuclear waste) and water law.
