The rescue of MG Rover, which will ensure the future of the Longbridge plant, near Birmingham, will be completed next month.
Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation will invest in the plant in a joint venture with the British car maker.
The deal is expected to be signed on April 20 although a final agreement has been postponed several times previously. Some assets, such as the property portfolio, will be ring-fenced from the joint venture.
