Rupert Cherryman, the head of Chesterton’s Docklands offices until it went bust last week, has set up on his own with a former colleague and claims to have taken most of the business with him.
Cherryman said he is under no legal constraints not to contact clients and pitch for work as he was made redundant and is in any event owed “a significant amount of money” by his former employer.
