Standard Life’s price cutting wins letting at Juxon House

Standard Life has found its first tenant for Juxon House on St Paul’s Churchyard, EC4, since dropping the quoting price to £47.50 per sq ft.

Moroccan bank BMCE has agreed to take 20,000 sq ft on the second floor. It will join Sarasin, which rents the top floor, and Resolution Life Group, which has 6,500 sq ft. Fund manager Apux has also been looking at two floors.

In February, Standard Life dropped Jones Lang LaSalle as joint agent with Strutt & Parker, in favour of Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker. It also replaced JLL on 10 Gresham Street, EC2, with Hargreaves Goswell Down, and dropped quoting prices on both buildings from £49.50 to £47.50 per sq ft.

Mellersh & Harding represented BMCE.
