Dhillion Hotels has sold its freehold interest in the 22-bedroom Abbey Lodge Hotel in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, to private hotelier Jeremy Dobson for £2m.
Paul Barrasford, a director of Savills, which sold the hotel, said: “Dhillon Hotels has sold the property in order to focus on its core brand units.”
He added: “Abbey Lodge is a well established business with a strong trade base, it is weighted towards accommodation and is ideally suited to an individual owner-operator who can build on the reputation of the hotel.”
Dhillon Hotels owns a number of hotels around the South East and has recently acquired Stoke Place, Stoke Poges and The Crown in Old Amersham, which featured in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral.
