Peels unveils plans for sheds and offices at Robin Hood Airport

Peel Holdings has unveiled plans for nearly 100,000 sq ft of industrial units and offices at its Robin Hood Airport near Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

Priority Sites – an English Partnerships and Royal Bank of Scotland joint venture – plans 53,500 sq ft of high tech industrial units on the 1m sq ft business park.

Business Homes wants to develop 40,500 sq ft of offices on a 2.4-acre site.

Peel Holdings opened the park in April and has planning consent for over 1m sq ft of industrial, distribution and offices.

Work is scheduled to start this summer with the units expected to be ready for occupation in spring 2006.

Robin Hood Airport, which is near Junction 3 of the M18, is expected to have over 2.33m passengers and 50,000 tonnes of freight passing through it each year by 2014.
