Romney Marsh residents are calling for an inquiry into proposals to expand Lydd airport, in Kent.
They say the expansion plans are a risk to the Dungeness nuclear power complex two miles away.
The residents says they would prefer to see a new nuclear power station built than an airport the size of Luton.
