Gregory Property Investments has pre-let 36,000 sq ft at its Radial One scheme in east Leeds to window manufacturer Alternative Windows.
Alternative Windows will pay rent of £4.95 per sq ft for the building, which is on Knowsthorpe Lane in Cross Green in the east of the city near the A1(M).
Gregory business development manager Richard Tovey said, “Although rents over £5 per sq ft have been achieved, they have generally been on smaller buildings.
“This latest deal reflects the overall shortage of quality, industrial accommodation in Leeds and the site’s good location close to the east Leeds radial link onto junction 45 of the A1(M).”
The site was acquired by Gregory Property Investments in 2002 and is the company’s third venture in the east Leeds area.
Yorkshire Bank financed the initial development and has funded the long term investment for the developer.
