A South of England developer is working up plans for a business park in Hailsham, East Sussex.
Quadrant Estates is proposing a 110,000 sq ft scheme on the 10-acre South Road industrial estate, in partnership with site owner Marlow Ropes.
It will include 93,000 sq ft of speculative light industrial and distribution space. Ropemaker Marlow will itself occupy a new 27,000 sq ft office headquarters.
Colliers CRE will submit the proposals in September.
Marlow Ropes was advised by Derham Knight, and Quadrant Estates by Austin Adams.
Quadrant associate director Hugh Chesterton said the area “could really do with new stock”.
