St Modwen Developments has gained planning consent for the second 48,000 sq ft phase of its Shepcote Enterprise Centre in Sheffield.
The first 32,000 sq ft phase, on Shepcote Lane, comprises industrial units ranging from 4,500 sq ft to 6,000 sq ft and was completed in March.
The second phase will start on site in September with completion due later this year.
St Modwen has sold all but one of the first phase units at £60 per sq ft.
Steve Prosser, regional manager of St Modwen, said, “Shepcote Enterprise Centre represents the final phase of our partnership with Corus plc which has seen the successful development of the 27 acres former steelworks site.
“There is strong demand in the region for medium-size industrial units and we aim to continue meeting that demand.”
