Manchester developer Urban Waterside has secured three deals at its Spectrum Business Park development in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
Greater Manchester Police Authority has taken a 44,000 sq ft building for its sub-divisional headquarters, at an undisclosed price.
Research company the UK Biobank has taken a 20 year lease on 12,000 sq ft in two units, paying £6.15 per sq ft, while engineering supply company TF Solutions Ltd has purchased a 10,000 sq ft unit at an undisclosed price.
In addition, a further three buildings, ranging from 4,800 sq ft to 7,750 sq ft, are currently under offer, leaving two units available at the scheme.
Spectrum is the first phase of a new development that will provide more than 50,000 sq ft of flexible business space, more than 150 homes and a proposed new Metrolink station.
The scheme is located off Europa Way in Cheadle, near junction 2 of the M60.
Howard Hagan, managing director of Urban Waterside, said: “We are delighted with the early success of Spectrum.
“The scheme provides excellent transport links to Stockport and Manchester. If plans to build the Metrolink go ahead, transport links will be enhanced even further.”
