Cheshire-based Patrick Properties, in joint venture with LNC Property Group, has won planning permission for a 475,000 sq ft warehouse in Knowsley, Merseyside.
The scheme, to be known as Galaxy, will be built at Knowlsey Industrial Park, which adjoins junctions 4 and 5 of the M57 and has links to the M58 and M62.
Work on the development is due to begin imminently with completion planned for mid-2006.
David Brooks, partner at joint letting agent King Sturge, said: “Galaxy is aimed at the increasing number of warehouse users looking to consolidate and expand into larger buildings.”
The building has a quoting rent of £4.25 per sq ft.
