Milton Keynes solicitor emv law has recruited eight lawyers, including four property partners, from local rival Fennemores in a bid to expand its property and construction team.
On 31 May, partners Simon Ingram, Rob Goffman, Wendy Hodrien and David Danskin will join emv.
Following in their footsteps will be Fennemores’ planning specialist Giles Ferin, and its entire corporate finance team, comprised of Chris Robinson, Stephen Evans and Jody Bingham.
Ian Morris, chairman of emw law, called the recruitment drive a “coup” for the firm.
“We are moving our property and construction unit into the premier division,” he said. “These moves make the emw law property and construction team one of the largest and all encompassing in the area.”
Morris said that the new team will cover all aspects of commercial property, from planning and construction through to sale and disposal.
