Building developer John Tilly has accused Wayne Rooney of needlessly destroying a classic piece of architecture.
The soccer star has accused of destroying the property in the process of creating his £3.5m home in Cheshire.
He had the property demolished near Prestbury to make way for his three-storey modern mansion. Macclesfield Council said Rooney had operated within planning rules.
