Eurocentral eyes expansion after flurry of lettings

Eurocentral Partnership, which owns the 650-acre Eurocentral commercial and industrial park at Mossend near Glasgow, has secured Sheffield Insulations for a 72,000 sq ft distribution facility.

The insulations supplier has taken a 17 year lease at £5.25 per sq ft.

It will relocate from its existing site at Bellshill in Lanarkshire into the purpose-built unit after its completion in September.

The letting follows almost 500,000 sq ft of new occupier deals in 2005 and precipitates a development program to deliver a further 96,000 sq ft of production and warehousing space in three buildings at the park.

Craig Ritchie, development executive at Eurocentral, said: “Considerable progress was made at Eurocentral throughout 2005 and this is now continuing into 2006.”

Eurocentral is a development partnership between Tritax Assets, Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire, RBS, and AMEC.

Ryden and CBRE represented the Eurocentral Partnership in the latest deal. Sheffield Insulations represented itself.
