London & Cambridge Properties (LCP) is adding just over 35,000 sq ft of speculative space to its Burntwood Business Park in Staffordshire.
The Paget 12 building will include 31,422 sq ft of industrial space, plus 3,848 sq ft of office accommodation.
LCP marketing director Margaret Hopkins said construction work would start immediately, with completion due in the autumn.
“Recent improvements in the local roads network, especially the M6 Toll and the Burntwood by-pass, encouraged us to commit to this scheme,” she said.
The new building is named after the Paget family, which owned nearby Cannock Chase for some 400 years.
Meanwhile, aluminium systems manufacturer Parry Bowen, which has been on the same Burntwood site for fourteen years, has taken a 14,500 sq ft unit next to its existing 34,500 sq ft factory.
The 11-year lease, to run alongside its existing deal, was signed at £4 per sq ft, and agreed directly between the company and LCP.
