Macob plans £20m mixed-use Cardiff Bay scheme

A South Wales developer is planning a £20m mixed-use scheme at one of Cardiff Bay’s landmarks buildings, The Coal Exchange.

The exchange was bought by Macob in 2001 and has since become a concert and conference venue.

Macob has also successfully refurbished and let 16,000 sq ft of office space at the site.

Proposals have been lodged for 200,000 sq ft of development with bars, restaurants, shops and offices as well as 120 new one and two bedroom apartments with onsite car parking.
