The wait is almost over for Britain’s most delayed millennium project, the Bath Spa.
Capita Symonds, the company that took over the management of the project a year ago, says it is within two weeks of handing over the keys to Thermae Bath Spa, which will operate the complex of specially adapted Georgian buildings and new Sir Nicholas Grimshaw-designed construction.
The project is four years late and three times over budget.
