Rupert Young has left the new investment business of JJ Gallagher and Countrywide Property Holdings.
The former CB Richard Ellis Birmingham chief one of the city’s most high-profile investment specialists left by mutual agreement on Tuesday.
Young, who was managing director at the company for just six months, said: “I’m disappointed that what looked like a good opportunity hasn’t quite worked out, but I am happy with what I did while I was there.”
He has yet to decide on his next move.
“The job involved a lot of travel and time away from home,” said JJ Gallagher chief Tony Gallagher.
