The Skelton Group, owner of Birmingham leisure complex Broadway Plaza, has signed up Travelodge as the latest tenant to occupy a unit at the 278,000 sq ft centre.
The 32,000 sq ft hotel will complement the existing tenant mix which includes; multiplex cinema operator AMC, Virgin Active, Frankie and Benny’s, Bowlplex and Broadway Casino.
Work has already started on the 75-bed Travelodge which is due for completion in December.
The scheme is situated on Ladywood Middleway next to Five Ways.
