Unilever heads to Leatherhead HQ

Consumer goods giant Unilever has chosen Landid’s Leatherhead office scheme for its 150,000 sq ft relocation.

The FTSE 100 company which produces household products including Persil,

PG Tips and Pot Noodle will move to Landid’s three-building scheme on Leatherhead Office Park, Springfield Drive, Surrey.

The company began its search for a new office complex in February in order to consolidate its offices along the south-west M25.

The letting is a coup for Landid, which was set up last year by former Akeler chief executives Trevor Silver and Steven Morgan.

They are planning a 193,500 sq ft office scheme.

Unilever had also shortlisted: Prudential’s and Helical Bar’s The Heights in Weybridge; Aviator Park in Addlestone; and a site in Crawley Business Quarter.

Jones Lang LaSalle advised Unilever. Holley Blake and Knight Frank advised Landid.
