Animal rights activists banned from Oxford lab builder digs

The High Court has banned animal rights activists from demonstrating at the digs of construction workers who are building Oxford University’s new research laboratory.

An order restricting demonstrations at the building site has been extended to cover Moreton-in Marsh Fire Service College, in the Cotswolds where the workers are living.

One contract pulled out earlier on in the project because of protests and threats to shareholders and workers.
