Manchester-based Modus has signed a two more high street retailers for their Byron Place shopping development in Seaham, meaning the scheme is now 70% pre-let.
Wilkinson and Argos have now both signed up to take stores of 16,000 sq ft and 9,000 sq ft respectively at the 110,000 sq ft shopping centre.
Byron Place, which is scheduled to open next summer, will be anchored by a 40,000 Asda supermarket.
Modus were chosen by regional development agency One NorthEast to undertake the regeneration of the Seaham Town Centre site was granted planning permission for the scheme in July last year.
