Foxtons founder Jon Hunt gives his first interview for more than 15 years to the Financial Times this Saturday, following a spate of negative publicity about the business over alleged sharp practices.
Hunt says much of the criticism has been sour grapes.
“Over the years they have said the sorts of stuff about us which has been very strange and made up.”
However, Hunt accepts the firm has an aggressive approach to pricing. “If you came to see us, would you want us to undervalue your property? I’d value it at the best price you sell it for.”
