A Charles Dickens theme park is to be built in Kent in bid to attract the author’s huge fan base in Japan and America.
Entrepreneur Kevin Christie aims to complete it by next March after securing £62m of financing through Bank of Scotland.
Dickens World will be based on the former Chatham Docks and will feature themed rides and other attractions around characters such as Uriah Heep and Oliver Twist.
