UK buyers double overseas homes ownership

The number of overseas properties owned by UK homeowners has trebled in the last decade. The number rose from 102,000 in 1995 to an estimated 300,000 in 2006, a study from Grant Thornton revealed. References: The Times 18/11/06 page 62
