Two Corby regeneration schemes totalling £50m have been approved.
The £32.6m 80,815 sq ft Cube a civic hub comprising a 445-seat theatre, library, council offices and restaurants and an £18m pool, pictured, form part of the Northamptonshire town’s Parkland Gateway.
Work on the schemes being developed by North Northants Development Co starts next month.
Corby is the focus of one of the UK’s largest urban regeneration programmes, with its catchment population set to double to 100,000 by 2010.
