RREEF appoints three new retail/office managers

RREEF, the real estate and infrastructure investment management arm of Deutsche Asset Management, has appointed three new managers across its retail and office teams. Stephen Wicks has been appointed as retail property fund manager UK, with Charles Spooner and Joss Dobbie, as retail and office asset managers within the RREEF UK team. Wicks was formerly a retail fund manager at Henderson Global Investors and has over 16 years of retail experience. In his new role he will be responsible for all UK retail assets owned by RREEF funds, and will run the RREEF UK Retail Property Fund. Spooner will be responsible for a range of retail assets within the RREEF UK Retail Property Fund, and will report to and assist Wicks with the management of these funds. He was previously an acquisitions surveyor at Specsavers Optical Superstores. Dobbie will be responsible for a designated office property portfolio, to both protect investment value and enhance returns through proactive management. He was previously an associate director at UBS where he had asset management responsibility for £375m of commercial property.
