Urban i reveals plans for £25m Sheffield scheme

Lazarus Properties’ residential development arm Urban i has revealed plans for a new waterside residential-led scheme in Sheffield.

i Quarter, Sheffield

Plans for the £25m project, known as i Quarter, located off Blonk Street and the Wicker, include: a 17-storey curved landmark glass tower overlooking the River Don featuring around 120 apartments, alongside restaurants, bars and outdoor terraces on the former Hancock and Lant furniture store site.

The i Quarter is set to transform one of the most ignored parts of Sheffield’s riverside and create a new quarter in the city.

Matthew Allcard from Urban I confirmed the firm has already speculatively sold the majority of the apartments.

Urban i’s investment in the i Quarter is part of £1bn worth of public and private investment helping to highlight Sheffield as an economic and cultural hotspot in the UK.
