Grainger has won outline planning consent for its 326-acre mixed-use Newlands development at Waterlooville in Hampshire.

There is also provision for a further 1,000 residential units to be added to the scheme in the future.
Grainger, which aims to submit a detailed planning application later this year, will create a new management company for the development, which will provide community and maintenance services for residents.
