The Crown Estate, the Queen’s property company, has bought the historic Tabley Estate in Knutsford,
The 3,608-acre property is an agricultural, residential and sporting estate in north-east
It includes 18 equipped farms, a further 18 lettings of farmland, three sites let as grazing land, 52 residential properties, 13 commercial leases, and the Cheshire Showground.
Tabley House, a listed mansion with a further 26 acres of listed parkland, will remain in the ownership of the university.
