Tesco must decide this week whether to raise its bid for Dobbies.
It is continuing to battle for control of the chain of Scottish garden centres.
It can extend its £15-a-share offer for another ten days after the latest offer period ends on Wednesday. It cannot make any changes to the bid after August 10.
