Primark has submitted plans to Telford & Wrekin Council to triple the size of its existing store in the town’s shopping centre.
The budget retailer has applied for a 50,000 sq ft extension and a new entrance directly on to the Ash Grey car park.
The ground floor will be completely refitted and refurbished.
Plans have been submitted by Telford Shopping Centre owners Hark Group and Apollo.
Rob Cossey, director of Hark Group, said: “We know that the town centre is already successful, but we think that there is real potential to improve it in the future.
“Primark is just the start for us.”
