Bristol Alliance has agreed with fashion retailer New Look to increase the size of its new store at Cabot Circus in the city from 22,000 sq ft to 35,000 sq ft.
Cabot Circus is a 1m sq ft city centre development being developed jointly by Land Securities and Hammerson.
The deal follows the
Keith Stone, Bristol Alliance leasing director, said: “Leasing progress at Cabot Circus is well ahead of expectations and we have already reached the 75% let milestone.
“Following a retailer open day, which was attended by over 100 retailers and agents, held at Cabot Circus towards the end of September, we are now in detailed negotiations on a number of stores as a direct result.”
Cabot Circus will be anchored by a 170,000 sq ft House of Fraser store. Harvey Nichols is also taking 37,000 sq ft.
The scheme will provide also provide 250 apartments, 161,000 sq ft of offices and public space.
