Hammerson and Hermes, the joint developers of Leicester’s £350m Highcross Quarter have signed up two new fashion tenants who will each make their debut in the city.
Designer brands Hugo Boss and Cruise have taken prelets at the £350m shopping and leisure centre due to open in October 2008.
Cruise will open a three-level 7,179 sq ft flagship store, while Hugo Boss will trade from ground and mezzanine levels in a new 4,348 sq ft shop – which will be one of the retailer’s largest city centre stores in the UK.

Meanwhile, Apple, will also be making its city centre debut at Highcross Leicester, with the opening of a 6,210 sq ft store located between H&M and
Highcross Leicester will absorb the existing Shires shopping centre to become a single destination of over 1m sq ft incorporating over 100 fashion retailers, three department stores – a new 220,000 sq ft John Lewis, and existing Debenhams and House of Fraser – plus 120 flats, 3,000 parking spaces, and Leicester’s first city centre multiplex cinema.
