Prince Charles’s property company has submitted plans for mixed-use developments on two sites in Newquay.
The Duchy of Cornwall has made two separate planning applications to Restormel council for a total of 500 homes, two care homes and ancillary office space.
Proposals for a 10-acre site at Tregunnel Hill include 200 homes and employment space for 30 jobs.
The Duchy has also submitted plans for 300 homes and employment space for up to 360 jobs on 22 acres of land off
Plans include 80 care-home flats. Tim Gray, development director for the Duchy of Cornwall, said: “We are submitting two planning applications on Duchy-owned land that aim to meet the aspirations of the community and the local authority by delivering affordable homes, together with employment space and other housing.”
