Industrial giant SEGRO has sold its interests in Slough Heat & Power to energy company Scottish and Southern Energy for £49.2m.
SEGRO will sell its shares in the power generation business and will simultaneously grant Scottish and Southern a 45-year lease of the site that the plant occupies.
The Slough Heat & Power plant is situated on the Slough Trading Estate.
KMPG Corporate finance advised SEGRO on the deal, which is expected to complete by the end of December.
