The site borders Crest Nicholson’s £500m Bath Western Riverside residential-led scheme, which includes 2,000 new homes, two riverside parks and bridges, a primary school, local shops, GP practice and student housing.

The site is not being marketed with a specific development brief, but has been described as suitable for a mixed-use scheme involving retail, residential or light industrial.

Peter White, director at Atisreal, who is acting for Bath Press said: “We are delighted to have won this instruction as a site of this calibre and in this location does not come along very often. We expect interest to be very strong, not least because of the range of options that this site presents.”
