Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has confirmed its move to offices in Edinburgh‘s Exchange district.
JLL said it had signed a 10-year-deal with Standard Life to lease 7,000 sq ft at 7 Exchange Crescent at an initial rental reflecting £27.50 per sq ft.
JLL said the move was needed to house an expanding team in Scotland. Last month, it bought Glasgow-based niches leisure specialist Creevy LLH.
Alasdair Humphery, director in charge of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Edinburgh office, said: “This re-location is necessary as we grow in new business areas such as Planning Consultancy. We have also made senior appointments in our Project and Development Services and Property Management teams, and recruited 13 new staff across all divisions.
“Our Edinburgh office, in common with the rest of the company, is showing a high level of growth, which has been reflected in an impressive 2007 despite challenging market conditions.”
JLL will relocate from its offices in George Street in April 2008.
