The Peabody group, controlled by JP Morgan Chase and JW O’Connor, and Lamaro Appalti will buy and reconstruct Alitalia’s current headquarters at the Fiumicino airport in Rome, Italy, in a deal valued at ¬300m. This is the first time that a US investment fund has undertaken a promotion and property development operation.
