Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank and Dresdner bank are to merge their mortgage departments which include property and public finance.
It has not yet been revealed whether the operation will be a total or partial merger. It is thought that this operation will reduce the pressure on prices and benefit what is not a buoyant market at present.
