German insurer Allianz has taken 9,000m2 at the Europlex project in Warsaw.
Europlex, which has been billed as the city centre’s first modern mixed-use development, is located on ul Pulawska, one of Warsaw’s main arterial highways.
The office space is split between two towers of 12 and nine storeys; Allianz will occupy the whole of the second tower. The project has restaurants and retail on the ground and first floors and also includes a cinema being developed by Portico Holdings.
Hanspeter Hoeslt, a member of the board of Kinomax, which developed the building, said: “This is a tremendous letting in a difficult market and we are delighted to welcome a company as strong as Allianz to our building.” Kinomax is a joint venture between PIF MAX Film, Bank fuer Arbeit und Wirtschaft and the Nowikovsky Group.
The quoting rent for the building is $29 per m2 a month. There is around 4,000m2 remaining unlet.
