Belgian telecoms operator Belgacom has appointed DTZ Debenham Winssinger to handle the disposal of over 200 surplus properties throughout Belgium. The appointment is thought to be one of the biggest ever made by a Belgian company.
DTZ’s Camille Caudron said the portfolio included land, houses and holiday centres in addition to commercial properties. The most prominent building is the 19,000m2 former Belgacom headquarters, close to Brussels Nord station.
Belgacom is aiming to dispose of the properties within two to three years.
