Starr International has linked with Letterstone Group to form a €1bn (£791m) European property investment venture.
They have created LS Real Estate Ventures to buy real estate developments in Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and the Ukraine.
The operation will be based in the Netherlands. The partners will invest about €250m in mostly land, or property with redevelopment potential, which Letterstone will develop into new commercial buildings.
