New letting at Edinburgh’s Exchange Crescent

  Financial consultant Barrie & Hibbert has taken 9,838 sq ft of offices at Standard Life’s 7, Exchange Crescent in Conference Square, Edinburgh.   The firm has taken a ground floor suite on a 15-year lease at £27 per sq ft at the 190,000 sq ft building, and is relocating from a smaller office in Clydesdale Bank Plaza.   David Macmillan, Barrie & Hibbert’s chief executive, said: “We were impressed with Exchange Crescent’s outstanding location, fellow occupiers, prestigious address and excellent facilities.”    More than 65,000 sq ft has been let this year, with other tenants including Jones Lang LaSalle and law firm Shepherd & Wedderburn.
