Gerald Eve promotes Bullock to senior partner

Gerald Eve’s head of planning, Hugh Bullock, is to become the firm’s next senior partner.

Bullock will replace David Butters – who is stepping down after seven years – when the firm converts to a limited liability partnership in October.

Butters’ responsibilities will be split between Bullock and two new members of the board.

Simon Prichard, head of offices in London and the South East, will become strategy partner, while head of the Cardiff office Simon Rees will become managing partner.

Peter Haigh-Lumby and Robert Priestley retain their executive board positions as operations partner and director of people and policy, respectively, while Butters will continue to lead the leisure, retail and corporate property management teams.

Butters said: “The management team is structured in a way that ensures a client-focus at the forefront of all that we do. Hugh, Simon and Simon will bring energy, determination and vision to the executive board as it takes the firm forward over the next five to 10 years.”
