Hodgson will continue in his role in the executive team at the property adviser, having stepped down as the group’s chief operating officer in May 2007.
He is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and during his 30 year career at DTZ has held a number of senior UK and group management positions.
The architect has also announced that Gerry Deighton has retired as the firm’s non-executive chairman and takes up the post of president.
